Institute of Sustainable Development-ISD is a registered company limited by guarantee as a local NGO under the company act of 1984. The organization is located at ISD House, Nthaka Organic Farm, Mponda Village, T/A Kapeni, Blantyre in Southern Malawi. The organization has a functional Board of Trustees and management responsible for daily operations.
The organization has a social enterprise called Betterlife Products Limited as a trading arm and Nthaka organic Farm as a training center for Agro-ecology, permaculture, organic animal farming, black soldier fly farming and agriculture eco-tourism.
